Rapid AI proof of concept
The fastest way to know whether an AI idea is worth building is to put a working version in front of real users. We build proof-of-concept prototypes with current AI models in days, test them with your users and give you a decision you can defend.
This is how we built Compass for the Department of Health and Social Care, helping NHS clinicians and procurement teams choose medical devices from trusted evidence, and how we launched MyStoryboarder, an AI storyboarding product, to market in beta.
What a proof of concept includes
- A working prototype built on current large language models or image models, connected to sample data where that is safe to do
- Prompt, flow and interface design so the prototype feels like a real service, not a demo
- Moderated usability sessions with representative users, including people with accessibility needs
- An honest evaluation: usefulness, accuracy, failure modes, cost per interaction and what it would take to build properly
- A recommendation to proceed, pivot or stop, with the evidence to show your stakeholders
Why a prototype before a platform
A proof of concept costs a fraction of a procurement and answers the question that matters: do users trust it and does it change the outcome? It also exposes data gaps and governance questions early, when they are cheap to fix. For public sector teams it gives an alpha phase something concrete to assess.
How quickly
A first version in one to two weeks. Testing and evaluation in the following two. Most proof-of-concept engagements are complete within six weeks.
Test your AI idea with real users
Tell us the idea and the data you have, and we will tell you within a day whether a proof of concept makes sense.
